What's in a New-Build Plumbing Scope
A typical new-build plumbing scope from Bluetech includes:
Underground Rough-In
Underground rough-in: building drain, sanitary stack, storm drainage, water service entry, and sump pit (where required).
Above-Slab Rough-In
Above-slab rough-in: hot & cold supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) piping, gas line runs, and fixture stub-outs through framing.
Mechanical Room
Mechanical room: hot water tank or tankless, pressure regulation, isolation valves, and gas connections to the appliance.
Pressure Testing
Pressure testing & inspection: hydrostatic and air tests on supply and DWV systems, signed off before drywall.
Fixture & Trim
Fixture set & final trim: toilets, faucets, sinks, dishwasher and laundry hookups, hose bibbs, and trim plates.
Commissioning
Commissioning: pressure check on the live system, leak inspection, fixture function check, and walk-through with the builder or homeowner.

Do you do bathroom renovations?
Yes. We handle all plumbing aspects of bathroom and kitchen renovations - moving drains, adding supply lines, and connecting new fixtures.
Do you work directly with general contractors?
Yes - much of our new-construction work is for GCs on custom-home and small multi-unit builds. We coordinate scheduling, rough-in inspections, and trim with the build schedule. We also work directly with owner-builders.
When should I bring you in on a new build?
As early as possible. Ideally we're involved during the design phase to advise on routing and fixture decisions, and on site at underground rough-in - before the foundation is poured. We can also come in mid-project for additions or renovations.
Can you handle the gas-side work too?
Yes. Jasvir Chot holds the TSBC gas-fitter licence, so gas lines, appliance connections, and venting are all done by the same crew - one trade, one schedule.
Do you provide plumbing layouts for permit drawings?
On larger projects we coordinate with your designer or architect on plumbing layouts; on smaller jobs we work from the supplied drawings. We'll let you know what we need to quote and start.
How much does new-construction plumbing cost?
