The terms and policies governing your use of bluetechmechanical.ca and engagement of services from Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. By using this website or engaging our services, you accept the terms set out below.

Effective: 20 May 2026 · Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. · British Columbia, Canada

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using bluetechmechanical.ca (the “Website”) or engaging Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. (“Bluetech”, “we”, “us”) for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations of British Columbia and Canada. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website or engage our services.

2. Copyrights & Trademarks

All content and materials available on bluetechmechanical.ca — including but not limited to text, graphics, the website name, source code, images, photographs, illustrations, video, design elements, layouts, and logos — are the intellectual property of Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. and are protected by applicable Canadian and international copyright and trademark law.

Any unauthorised use — including but not limited to reproduction, distribution, public display, transmission, modification, framing, scraping, automated harvesting, or republication of any content on this site, whether in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation from Bluetech Mechanical Ltd.

Third-party trademarks, certification marks, and logos (including but not limited to TSBC, Interprovincial Red Seal, BCWWA, NFPA, and partner manufacturer marks) remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed under licence or fair use for the purpose of identifying our certifications and the equipment we operate.

3. Service Engagement & Payment Policies

All plumbing, gas-fitting, fire-sprinkler, and trenchless services performed by Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. are subject to a separate signed Plumbing Works Authorization & Waiver Form. That document governs the specific terms of engagement, payment, liability, and scope for each job, and prevails over any inconsistent statements made on this Website or in informal communications.

Payments

We do not process payments directly through this Website. Credit card payments (processed securely via third-party providers such as Square) are offered strictly at our discretion to eligible customers upon invoicing. We reserve the right to dictate acceptable payment methods on a per-job basis.

Estimates, marketing copy, service descriptions, and photographs on this Website are provided for informational purposes and do not, by themselves, constitute a contractual offer or a guarantee of specific results.

4. Website Use & Third-Party Links

You agree not to: (a) use the Website in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Website, any related systems, or any account; (c) interfere with the Website’s normal operation, including via denial-of-service, scraping, or automated probing; (d) introduce malicious code; or (e) collect or harvest any personal information of other users.

External Links

Our Website may contain links to external websites, including manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and certification authorities. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, privacy practices, security, or accuracy of any third-party websites.

We reserve the right to refuse service, block IP addresses, or remove content at our sole discretion.

5. Disclaimers & Emergency Notice

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, except to the extent such warranties cannot be lawfully excluded under the laws of British Columbia.

⚠ Emergency Services Notice

Our online contact forms and email inboxes are not monitored continuously. Do not use website forms, email, or text messages to report plumbing, gas, fire-sprinkler, or any other emergencies. For immediate assistance, you must call our contact number directly. We are not liable for any property damage, business interruption, or physical harm resulting from delayed responses to electronic communications.

Information published on the Website may change without notice. Pricing, response times, scope inclusions, and service availability are subject to verification at the time of engagement.

6. Service Availability & Response Times

Best-Efforts Basis

Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. operates as a small specialist trade practice. While we make commercially reasonable best efforts to respond promptly to inquiries during typical business hours, we do not maintain a twenty-four-hour call centre, an after-hours dispatch service, or a guaranteed on-call rotation. All response times, attendance times, and communications are offered on a best-efforts basis only and do not constitute a binding service-level commitment.

No Guarantee of After-Hours Response

We are not obligated to monitor, return, or respond to any communication received during evenings, overnight hours, weekends, statutory holidays in British Columbia, or any other period in which our tradesperson is off-duty. Any decision to respond during such periods is made entirely at our discretion as a courtesy, and does not establish an ongoing obligation, precedent, or reasonable expectation of after-hours service.

Periods of Extended Unavailability

From time to time, our tradesperson may be unavailable for extended periods — including, without limitation, vacation, personal leave, parental leave, illness, training, family obligations, statutory holidays, equipment failure, travel, or other personal circumstances. During such periods, we may not respond to incoming calls, voicemails, text messages, emails, or contact form submissions for several days or longer. We are not obligated to publish, post, broadcast, update voicemail greetings, or otherwise announce these absences in advance, during, or after the fact.

Active Engagements

When our tradesperson is actively engaged on another job site, they are not obligated to interrupt that work to accept incoming calls, dispatch requests, or additional bookings. We make reasonable efforts to return messages once we are available; we make no representation as to the time within which we will do so.

Limitation of Liability for Unavailability

⚠ Liability Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any property damage, business interruption, personal injury, financial loss, or consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising from (a) a delayed, missed, or unreturned response to any telephone call, text message, voicemail, email, contact form, or other communication, regardless of the time of day, day of the week, or season at which it was sent; (b) any period during which our tradesperson is off-duty, asleep, on vacation, on statutory, personal, or parental leave, observing a holiday, attending to family, ill, in transit, or otherwise unavailable; (c) our inability to dispatch a tradesperson within any particular timeframe, regardless of how the request was characterised; or (d) reliance on any informal estimate of response time given by marketing material, our Website, social media, telephone reception, voicemail greeting, or any individual. This limitation applies whether the request was characterised as an emergency, urgent, after-hours, same-day, or routine.

Customer’s Duty to Mitigate

⚠ Do Not Wait for a Return Call

In the event of a suspected emergency, you remain solely responsible for taking reasonable interim measures to limit damage. Where safe and applicable, you must: shut off the main water supply, close the natural-gas meter shut-off valve, de-energise affected fixtures or appliances, evacuate the premises, call 9-1-1 for fire or life-safety threats, contact FortisBC at 1-800-663-9911 for suspected gas leaks, and notify your property manager, insurer, or strata as appropriate. You must not wait for a return call from Bluetech before taking these steps.

Alternative Providers

If we are unable to attend within a timeframe that meets your needs, you are free to engage another licensed contractor. We are not liable for any premium charged by another provider, nor for any damage, injury, or loss that occurs while you attempt to reach us or wait for our return.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website. Liability for services performed on-site is governed by the signed Plumbing Works Authorization & Waiver Form for the relevant job. The limitations in this Section 7 are in addition to, and do not displace, any other limitations of liability set out elsewhere in these Terms, including those in Section 6 (Service Availability & Response Times).

8. Privacy, Communications & Contact Forms

Information you submit through our website contact forms (managed via secure third-party processors) is collected and used solely to provide the requested quotes, communicate with you about your job, and meet legal, regulatory, and warranty obligations. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

By providing a phone number, you consent to receive service-related calls and text messages from Bluetech Mechanical Ltd. Standard messaging rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential communications by replying STOP or contacting us directly.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

10. Severability & Changes

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. We may revise these terms from time to time without notice; the version posted at bluetechmechanical.ca/terms is the version in effect at the time of access.
